That's right, the new song from Sans Pression (the man who does the entrance music for GSP) is out and it stars David "the Crow" Loiseau, among a few other MMA faces.

Jeff Monson calls out Kimbo...

Well, it's short, sweet and to the point. Worth a try, Jeff - would be a huge, high profile win for Monson that would make him a mainstream name again now that he's out of the UFC. But if Elite decides to throw Kimbo to the experienced wolves with a sik ground game, they may as well let him get run over by Fedor and still cling to the ability to convince the Youtube-addicted-non-MMA-savvy world that Kimbo could theoretically still be the world's #2 heavyweight...

Affliction Banned - The Best Card Ever?

I am struggling to think of a card in recent MMA history (or ancient MMA history) with as many relevant fights across the board as Affliction: Banned.

There are literally a half dozen matches with serious implications for their divisions worldwide. And the crazy thing is, you can wait a few months and just mix and match the opponents for another great card.

And it doesn't hurt that the event has a killer trailer.

This is not a card filled out with Jorge Gurgel and Kendall "Da Spyder" Grove fights. Aleksander Emelianenko, who despite not being his brother, could step into the UFC heavyweight divison and be an immediate contender...is on the undercard. An Aleksander fight is not headline news but it does have at least some implications for the heavyweight division - more than most of what is going on with the UFC HWs right now.
